Thanks for visiting my biography page. I was born in Seoul, South Korea. My family moved to the United States when I was 7 years old. I grew up in Richmond, Virginia where I attended medical school. I did my residency in Urology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. I have practiced in several states including South Carolina, Michigan, and Alabama before setting up shop in sunny Southern California. Outside of work, I love to play golf being fortunate enough to play over 500 courses and hope to play many more. I like watching sports especially football and am a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I enjoy seeing full range of urologic conditions of all ages. My philosophy is of practicing medicine is to treat the patients as if they were family. What would I do if that patient was my father or mother sort of thing. I like to give treatment options when available but always willing to guide the patient towards the right decision. I also feel being honest with patients even if that means telling them bad news or prognosis.
